Innovation through 3D printing

At H&H, we have always set ourselves the goal of offering innovative solutions that give our customers a competitive edge. Our daily challenge is to fit insulating papers into customer-specific sheet metal packages so precisely that they line the groove of the package like a second skin.

To overcome this challenge, we relied on the innovative technology of 3D printing. We began to precisely produce our customers' specific groove geometries using state-of-the-art 3D printers. This method allowed us to quickly reproduce even the most complex groove shapes with incredible accuracy. The bending, folding and punching tools are then designed and manufactured in-house, depending on the requirements. We can draw on over 60 years of experience in the development and manufacture of tools for bending and folding electrical insulation materials.

The result is impressive: our customized 3D-printed sheet metal packages are now equipped with slot liners that not only fit perfectly, but also ensure optimal assembly at the customer's premises. The projects are implemented with the usual H&H speed.
